I don't read these tales very much because I assume that most of them are all cliche' and hackneyed. I was so excited to read this book and love the overall aspect of it, but holy cow, so much exposition. Although this book is far from my own worldview and purpose in writing, I found the author’s style unique and entertaining. This book was different and approached the idea of time travel much more scientifically. Well, it happened! I would use the word “smug” to describe the writing style. The science is wonderfully explained, even if it’s nothing but folly. The parallels to Back to the Future are not unwarranted, although this is an infinitely darker tale. Mastai has provided the best descriptions of the complexities of time travel that I have read to date. With mind-boggling scientific descriptions and rationales, time travel seems verily plausible.

Elan Mastai, who is a professional screenwriter, skillfully exposes the consequences of using a time machine to "fix" problems of the past. Love also finds its way back into Tom's life, but it's not without nearly insurmountable challenges. You know, like in the 1950s and ‘60s with stories set decades in the future—the time we live in now—where the 21st century is a techno utopian world? I found myself almost believing Tom or John (or Mr. Mastai) that this was a memoir and not a novel.
It is a story of friendship and family, of unexpected journeys and alternate paths, and of love in its multitude of forms. All Our Wrong Todays is about the versions of ourselves that we shed and grow into over time. This book was well worth reading.

The protagonist doesn’t even know who he is at times, but his insight is far beyond that of most made-up people. I was able to finish the book, but it was painful.A fun page-turner with some nice twists; very compelling characters A fun look at how difficult it is to fix the mistakes of the past A good read just not as fun as it could be. Tom, the unlikely hero, is faced with choices that he was not prepared to make. Bravo to Mastai for a great novel. I truly did not want this book to end. Technology. Obsessively thought-provoking.
